Gave it a 1 star because you can’t do 0. Nyack Hospital will let alarms go off for 15 minutes and medical staff just ignores it... You have to ask someone to turn them off cause apparently the alarms mean absolutely nothing to them. This place is filthy. My niece has been here since 8pm, (it’s now 11:30pm) came in and couldn’t breathe, was initially told to have a seat in the waiting because that was not an emergency, when they tried to leave to go to another hospital, a nurse came running behind them, that they were ill inf... read more

My mother went into the ER yesterday at 3pm... I understand she wasn't a priority but the ER had zero communication with her about when she would be going into a room... You left a woman in her late 60s in a hallway until 3am when she finally got a room... On top of that no one checked on her. The only thing she was told about getting a room was she wouldn't be sleeping in the hall way. Absolutely disgusting and pathetic on your staffs part.

This past February I was in extreme pain.I went to Nyacks E.R. .I was diagnosed quickly with have pneumonia.It was severe.I was admitted.and I was in the hospital for 15 days.I had to have 2 surgeries. I had EXCELLENT care at Nyack Hospital.They saved my life. Thank you everyone!!
