Best French Fries – The best french fries I've ever eaten are served here! Go just for the fries. We love to eat here and go often. Highly recommended.
Disapointing – Pleasant, warm atmosphere. Very average food. Extremely unattentive servers do not smile or exchange any friendly words. The restaurant was not at all busy, we were seated cetrally and still were paid little to. In speaking with friends we learned that they had a very similar experience. We will not return.
A Favorite for Several Years – My friends and I are regulars at Monteaux's. We love this place. The owners Sal and Larry are always inviting and the serving staff is stellar. The food is consistently good and they are constantly finding ways to improve or expand the menu offerings. The monthly specials by country are a fun touch and a good opportunity for variety. Uncooked & Uneaten – My mother and I went to Monteaux's for dinner. For starters, the place is freezing! We waited in the front for 5 minutes to be seated.Turned out that the host was actually the bus boy. My mom & I ordered the "Chicken Saltimboca". The chicken was dry, and rough. & if you readers know anything about Saltimboca, you'll know that its tender and wafer thin, easy to cut, & NOT PINK! This chicken was NOT Saltimboca. A Classy Pub – This was a very nice place... too nice. I personally like my pubs to be a bit darker and less... well... polished, but if you're looking for a nice restaurant, this place has it all. Good selection of beer (wish they had Bass and Harps on tap) and the food was good. I'd recommend the Halibut fish and chips... very tender and great flavor. great little place! – Monteaux's is a great little neighborhood place in Beaverton! We love trying their different world specials but they also have the BEST burgers in town!
ok – it was my first time in and the service was poor and the food wasn't that great for the money. they do have a good menu selection and good beers on tap. the place is decorated nicely but not worth the money.
New overall favorite – Both my girlfriend and I have found Monteaux's our new standby for "any occasion" dining on the Westside. The menu always seems to have some delicacy that perfectly fits a craving, and the always-good monthly specials provide excellent reasons to become regulars. Sometimes we seem to be forgotten when sitting outside, so we mostly sit in the restaurant. This place is sure to endure, it has all the hallmarks of one of the greats.
Good Food, Friendly Serivce – I live right down the road from Monteaux's and go there about twice a week. The food is good, especialy the burgers and the Chirizo burger is my favorite. The Service is awsome and their is a bartender that works weekends that makes great drinks. Even If this place wasent close to my house I would still make the trip.
