Oasis in a Mall? – Well, I don't know 'bout that, but it sure knows how to fill your empty stomach with a style. There is a plethora of well-known, basic American comfort food to choose from. No surprises here, and I mean that in a good way. Burgers are juicy and everything you expected it to be, and their black eye entrees are just excellent. Great!! – Monteaux's is a great neighborhood place to eat. Friendly owners, great staff, great food. We love to go there!! You should try it.
Good Grub! – The service was great, service was good. I thought the menu had lots of options. I have been there many times and never had a bad time!
Bleech! – Stopped by for Happy Hour. Food was awful. Stale bread toasted to try to cover up the staleness. Artichoke dip was cold. Very bad. Had a great dinner there months ago. New ownership?? Won't go back.
over rated not worth the price – We had a couple events here the service was terible. Prices high we spent a couple hundred they treated use like we was nobodies.
Great music venue? Come on! – One of Portland's best live music venues, please. Most of the comments I've read are about the food, few say anything about the music. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the music can be good, but there are PLENTY of other live music venues in Portland which could easily beat this place as a top-ten music venue. Besides, it's in a strip mall in Beaverton, not a place to see the best live music in the Portland area for sure.
Interesting! – We found this place because they advertise on the room keys at the Hilton Garden Inn in Beaverton (catchy idea!). We waited for a table at the (smallish) bar and enjoyed the good selection of local brews and premium booze. The martini was worth it! The menu is simple and contains all of the comfort food-type stuff that won't win any major culinary awards but it keeps you coming back for more. Public House, Plenty Fun – Fun, friendly scene. Food is good, nothing too special though. Come here for tasty drinks and a decent burger.
