Beautiful old building with character that management is running into the ground. Roof leaks on 4th floor, elevator never consistently works, windows that are warped and don't fully close or have screens, smoke detectors in hallways and stairwells have been yanked leaving wires exposed, a front door the whole neighborhood has the code for and doesn't stay locked anyways, a back door that is always rigged to not lock, drug dealers threatening residents because the crackhead can't pay, homeless people sleeping in lobby and lau... read more
Roaches, bed bugs and a landlord who had loaded guns in his office and threatened to use them on anyone who pissed him off. My ceiling fell in and rained dirt, water, dry wall and black mold. I heard the slum lord tell the maintenance man not to fix it until i moved out. I left all of my furniture behind and cut every cord from every appliance in the apartment.
