We took my wife’s car to get her tires rotated and have a state inspection done. She had purchased the tires there so that’s where we went for the rotation. When they reinstalled the wheels they did not tighten the lug nuts on the driver side front wheel. It fell off. If I didn’t have to give a star for my review to be published...I wouldn’t..that is how bad the service was. Please take heed and do your homework on this place before going. I had first purchased my tires (Mr. Tire at the Chester, MD store) from KEVIN the GENERAL MANAGER. He was all smiles making the sale and selling me the extra warranty. He also told me at the time that my tie rod was jammed and they could not do a balance on the vehicle. He quoted me close to $800 to fix the tie rod. I had a cracked valve replaced for a tire at the Monro in Pittsburgh, PA. I was told the whole tire sensor would also need replaced since it was one piece with the valve. I trusted the mechanics to replace correctly prior leaving for a weekend trip. While driving to our weekend destination the tire went flat with no warning and the TPMS light came one requesting the sensor be programed to the tire. Went to Buffalo Road location in Erie PA. End up taking my car back 4 times due to a new noise/problem as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot. Mechanics did everything wrong from putting parts on backwards to to not putting parts back on at all! Never ever go to Monroe!!

This review is about the Monro at 845 Park Rd, Columbus, OH 43085. Upshot: do not take your car to this Monro. Years ago, I had visited this Monro for a couple of oil changes and an emergency repair, but it's not a garage I've frequented because I ended up going to other places people recommended. Last week, shortly before she had to go out out of town, my friend *****'s passenger side door spontaneously broke (a known recall problem) such that we had to bungee it shut. My son brought our car to their Mr. Tire store #1003 to have the brake pads on the right rear changed out. He already had the pads, just needed installed. An hour or so later, he told me the quote via text, and it was higher than I expected. I went over to bring my credit card and asked why it was so much. We'd had the left side done somewhere else for much less, previously. I wish I could give Monroe 0 stars due to how horrible their service was. I went to Monroe 1 month ago to get my brakes and rotors fixed (hence their name). About a week later, the "new" brakes continued to squeak. So I brought it back - for another 4 hours - to have them determine they heard no squeaking and it was fine. Another week went by and it sounded like my brakes were grinding together. They tell you brakes for $149 then once they have your tires off that price suddenly becomes $800, asked why and they said because turn rotors, they give u a discount on brakes of $250 and then u notice once u leave that your being charged for other items that weren’t discussed or needed...I took the bill to my dealership and to another private repair shop and both said that the car did not need that done and I should have been shown a test strip that showed my brakes fluid needed changed and then all the other cost with tha... read more

Mr. Tire bring your car in for a valve stem, they find 5 or 6 others thngs on your car to fix and document it on the service order. August 3, 22018, my daughter takes her new 2016 Jeep Cherokee to the Mr. Tire in Winchester,VA for a simple oil change.
