This company is HORRIBLE. I have submitted multiple requests for a debit card. They told me I needed to submit a request to update my address. I’ve done so twice with nothing happening. I called back and they said 2-4 business days. I had a direct deposit go into my account and it took two weeks for the money to get transferred from my money lion account to my actual checking account. All because they won’t send me a debit card. At first I thought this was a good company. I received the $500 loan with no troubles and the repayment is very cheap. I also like the fact that my membership fees are going into an investment account, although you are unable to withdraw from the investment account if you have an active loan. My problem is trying to reach customer service. I sent an email and I got an auto reply saying they are no longer providing email support. Moneylion markets itself as a well to build savings that's easy and affordable. WHAT A JOKE. They charge additional fees, make it difficult to understand the process of saving, and offer some of the worse customer service I have ever seen.

HORRIBLE customer service. The CSR’s speak over you & direct you to their website to chat or email. When you try to chat nobody responds. Same with email. I’ve had a loan, paid it off & all. They refuse to allow me to close the acct. They drag their feet with processes on purpose to collect more membership fees. Do not allow these people into your bank accts. Money lion is helpful but VERY poorly run.

DO NOT USE MONEY LION I have $487 in my investment account. I owe $323 on the loan. I only signed up with money lion in order to help my credit. And had no issues. Until today. Well, we lost an income and I can no longer keep up with the subscription. I called and spoke to MANY people and I was told they can not use my investment account to pay off the loan. This company is a scam! I paid my account off early to only get notified a couple months later that they have reported me 30 days late!? How am I late when I paid early? All of my payments even I did have an account were auto payments! It took about a week to finally get someone on the phone, I had to use someone else's phone to call because my number was linked to my account. Moneylion could be good if their customer service was better and actually helped. There are always issues with the app. Most of the time it's prompting you to set up your account which it is already set up. Being able to transfer money from one account to another seam to be down whenever you need it and the instant cash option it works sporadically. When I've needed to reach someone I have after a small wait BUT they refused to help even though they have the ability to. My account is/was frozen for 4+ days because a deposit ... read more

So far MoneyLion has helped me save money and lent me $500 when no one else would. Love online finances. The only problem I've encountered so far is that Customer Service is hard to reach asap.

Very helpfull and helps with your cridet . Only problem is the 79 a month fee is a bit pricey. But they do basically give it back to you threw investment account.
