I am so livid right now. There has been up and downs with this company ever since I first started my credit building loan. I can understand glitches and hiccups here and there, however when they State on the app is that if you pay off your loan in full with a debit card they will release your funds immediately. Do not be scammed into using this company. My credit score did go up 10 points, but I had to pay $19.99 a month, plus interest on a loan. However, I could not get a hold of a customer service person, they use a generic bot, online and automated phone. Every time it said I would speak to a representative, it kept cycling to the menu. They made my payment to payoff my loan linger until I had to pay an additional membership monthly fee when I wrote twice to cancel the membership. It has a hard time connecting with any of my bank accounts. Did once and now it says it won’t. I can’t transfer money. The biggest issue that led me to this review was their service. I ordered something two months ago and it never came. I contacted the merchant multiple times, but they refuse to refund me even though it states that they do. I got my stimulus check when food shopping and they froze my account with out notifying me as an essential worker I’m trying to make sure my family is good while I bust my *** and these ******** won’t give me my funds they are not for the people don’t get this bank it’s the worst !!
They will scam you. They’ll stop taking payments out on your loan for no reason. They’ll then report you negatively to credit bureaus and will not make any attempts to contact you. You will request to speak with a manager and they’ll say that one will call you back and they never will, or they’ll just put you on hold and hang up on you. The absolute worst company to do business with.
DO NOT USE! Do not use MoneyLion to rebuild your credit. 1 - They're not even reporting my payments to any credit agency. I've seen no change in scores, and I've checked my reports, they are not reporting. 2 - I called them to have my bank account information changed so they could take the usual monthly payment.
