I like the financial tips. My membership fees and loan payments are setup for automatic deductions biweekly yet my membership has been delinquent twice. Not sure why this occurred.

Joined moneylion and when I realized the monthly fee was $140 a month I decided to pay them off. The first month they took the membership fee 2 days early resulting in my account OD. They refunded fees due to their error. Then they seen they had 2 of the same $51.00 payments coming out the next day and they couldn't stop it. I called Money Lion numerous times to change my payment information. Each time I spoke to agents and supervisors of which both stated the information was updated and it wasn't. My loan ended up defaulting and put in collections. When I called because I noticed the funds weren't being taken out I was spoken to as though I was at fault. After reiterating myself which seemed like 100 times to a supervisor I was assured that the issue would be resolved (lies). They Get you a loan at a low APR %5.99 a month for a $600 loan. Good! But then you have to pay a 1 time fee of $130 for the subscription. Which later I found out that it is actually a monthly fee not a one time fee. Now I am paying more for the monthly subscription of $130 than the actual loan payment of $93 SMH! What a rip off. There was a catch. So that low 5.99% APR is just a myth for you to apply. For a $600 loan I am paying $1400 once its paid.off in 6 months.
