Recently, I suffered a retinal tear in my R eye, even more serious because I have cataracts in both eyes. Dr Mompremier saw me at the hospital and acted quickly, operating early in the morning. He was both thorough and considerate, both then and with follow-up visits.
I had a microscopic piece of metal in my eye which the local ER was unable to remove. Mompremier was able to quickly and professionally remove it for me. I cant thank them enough for everything they did for me. Also they have the best customer service i couldve asked for. If you are ever in search of an eye doctor who really knows their trade and enjoys what they do, Mompremier is the place to go.
I took my dad to the the ER at Presbyterian In Denton after his pcp did absolutely nothing for his eye. The er recommended he see a Dr ASAP and they scheduled an appointment with Dr. Mompremier the next morning. When I realized he was in DeSoto I wanted to cancel and find another Dr because from my house it's about a 70 mile drive. Well long story short we went to the appointment and I'm so happy we did. I had a great time at The MomPremier Eye institute. All the newest technology and great customer service.
After being in the Plano Er on a Saturday night (in which the ER doctor was speaking to Dr Mikelson in Dallas) he told the ER physician that if I was willing to drive to Desoto on a Sunday morning, he would meet me at 9am to check my eye before I got on a plane to leave on a business trip. That speaks a lot of his character because he wasn't my doctor ( but NOW he will be!) but he was concerned about someone he didn't know.
