Really nice people and seemingly great service -- until I find out that the registration that they promised to take care of (and I paid for it up front!) was outsourced to another company who did not understand the registration laws in my home state. They totally messed up, and now I am paying another insurance company for a month until Modern can get my car registered legally. I've also spent hours on the phone between Modern and my insurance company -- and no one can tell me the status of my registration!!! It's almost 30 ... read more
If I could give them a horrible I would. I made one inquiry on line and they have sent me daily solicitations for weeks. Despite assurances that would stop, it continues day after day . Their word and therefore their trustworthiness in this matter speak for itself.
DeDe was great...the brake job and cv were done quick and correctly. Awesome place!!!
It's really sad when you go in with the full intent to purchase a car and they have no interest in selling them.
Everyone that we came into contact with at Modern went above and beyond to earn our business. Robert Ellsworth was wonderful to deal with, we told him what we wanted and he delivered at the best price we could find. He and the gang stayed late to insure that we drove the Forester home on a Saturday night. They know how to make you feel valued (like family). I would recommend anyone wanting a vehicle to stop in and check them out. Business the way it ought to be.
We brought a new Subaru in October. All was good, thought I would be a satisfied customer, but.......can you believe we STILL don't have our tag??? Modern "takes care" of processing the license tag registration. I'm not exactly sure what happened and yes, I know DMV can be a challenge, but I see a huge lack of customer service. We've called seven times to find out what the problem is, our second dealer tag expired yesterday, and John still doesn't see anything in the system. Whatever that means.
