My son went to Modern Sat Sept 26th to look at buying a new Impreza, Being his 1st new car purchase my husband and I went along. We are previous customers, we bought a 2015 Forester new from Modern at the old dealership. We asked for the sales mgr, the same gentleman who assisted us 5 years ago, but he never came out from behind the desk. Instead we worked with a young woman who had started there a couple months ago. I’ve been a customer with Family Subaru which was purchased by Modern Subaru, so I’ve been a customer for a fair amount of time. Purchased 2 cars and had them serviced at dealership. Became disappointed in both the service area and sales area. One person says one thing and another person says something else. Too much bait and switch. Maintenance department has poor diagnostic abilities so you keep changing parts until they figure out the issue. Recently (during the pandemic) we took our Forester in for service. You always more than meet our expections on service. But today, you were more than impressive. You sterilized the car inside before and after service. You wiped down chairs, the coffee machine, door handles and the restroom after each use. I bought a used car from another dealer and it had a few pretty big things wrong with it. I was so disgusted I was ready to be rid of it and sign off on Subaru forever. After a few appointments with Modern in Boone I finally feel safe and happy in my car. . everyone took the time to really listen to me and didn't give up til my car was right.
