This place was an absolute nightmare it’s filthy and no one cares about you . Staff are abusive and mean. This was the worst place I have ever been to for mental health. Once youre in there then there is no getting out. Horrible rooms the beds are harder than concrete. Absolutely terrible it blows my mind this place is still open
If I could give zero stars I would. I had a family member come here after suffering with mental health problems. The staff was AWFUL! She left worse then she came in and needed to be re hospitalized not long after being released. If you have the mean get your family members to go ANYWHERE ELSE!!
Can't belive this place is still open. I was patient many moons ago ,nasty,rats as big as possums, I know one patient walked off unnoticed got high as a kite came back only then did they notice he was missing. Lord id have thought this place that people enter to never be heard from again would have been shut down.

Mental illness plays a toll on all involved. Therefore, to try and help to alleviate concerns that we all have, I wanted to write a review. My grandson was admitted to Moccasin Bend and received treatment for approximately two weeks. He was released today. Since he has seen his share, I asked him how was this facility and the staff. He said the staff and facility were nice. I can’t speak for anything other than staff I had contact with; I found they were nice.
