I was recently admitted to MRMC and had my appendix removed I received the best of care while there by the Physcians and especially the nurse's. You guys rock! Thanks for helping me feel better.

I would highly recommend MRMC. The doctors, nurses and staff in the ER and CCU floor were friendly, attentive, and thorough in taking care of my husband for two days. In the ER they ran the proper tests to find out he had two small blood clots & Covid pneumonia in his lungs. Which were an "after" side effect of Covid. {this had been missed by a previous ER in Columbia} The staff also took the time to answer all my questions & keep me updated while I waited in the parking lot before they admitted him. I ended up in the ER and overnight at MRMC in Moberly. I’m fine! This post isn’t about that, just an opportunity to brag on them! I would’ve never gone there again and hadn’t since 2013, but was advised that they’d really stepped up their game. YES THEY HAVE! My mother was a patient at the Senior Behavioral Center for quite a lengthy stay. My sister was in daily contact with the nurses and my mother was treated with professionalism, loving care and concern and compassion throughout her hospitalization. The nurses provided honest responses to her questions and although we were not able to visit because of COVID we felt that they treated her as if she were one of their own. Their kind acts will never be forgotten.

Senior Behavioral Health Unit If there were ZERO stars on here I would choose that!! I would NEVER take anyone of my family members, friends, neighbors or any one I even dislike here!! Corporate in TN only care about their bottom line! My father was never same after being left alone in their dining room as we were able observed on their video recording of him looking for someone but no one was there, so he tried to get up and fell so hard backwards that his head bounced off their tile floor. Recently admitted with Covid. This was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had. Docs and nurses couldn’t be more professional while very kind at same time. MRMC has had a bad wrap for many years. No more. If people just give the teams another chance they would be amazed.

My siblings and I want to thank Dr. Terry Thrasher and the whole nursing team (Patty, Bill, Becky, Shannon, Vickie, and others) who worked with us in the Comfort Care section of the hospital in August. Our elderly mother (Sue Vanderhoff) was admitted due to a severe brain bleed after a bad fall and the attention she received was wonderful.
