O rating. Stay away from this man. He's a no good liar. He will leave you without heat and air conditioning for days or months. If you complain, you will get evicted. awful attitude, disrespectful – I also wish I could give zero stars. MJ kelly expects to do NEXT TO NOTHING between renters. He charges for painting/cleaning...ANY services provided by any workers you are charged for upon leaving - despite the fact that the apartment is awful when you move in. MJ KELLY IS A SCAM ARTIST AND UNETHICAL! TERRIBLE! They are truely scam artists. They DO NOT give back security deposits. They never painted before we moved in, and they turned around and said they had to paint so we therefore lose our security deposit. TERRIBLE LANDLORD- WILL LIE AND STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT!!!! – Mike Kelly is a thief. He lies and is beyond inappropriate on the phone when you call nicely to ask him why he has charged you for absurd things. Very shady and disreputable business DO NOT rent from this company! I came to Pittsburgh from out of town to look at apartments. I put down a deposit on a place and filled out the necessary paperwork. They called me the next day, after I already left, to say that they gave the place away! They accepted several deposits without telling anyone in order to get the interested parties to offer more rent in order to "win" the apartment. Very shady. Don't count on them to honor any agreements.
Could not be worse! Big time slum landlord. Stay away! Please don't rent from them because you will be sorry. If you do rent from them, make sure the place has everything you want because despite promises of getting things after you move in, you won't. Nothing will be replaced unless your life is in danger. Disgruntled tenant Horrible. Slumlord at best. Doesn't repair anything!! The carpet in our building is 40 years old. Wallpaper (flocked) is obviously that old. The grounds are a mess. The doorknob on the entrance fell off. He refuses to repair or clean up anything. And when I called about a fire alarm going off, he hung up on me. He is a thief. No one should rent from him. owner I used MJ Kelly to sell my real estate. He never came through. His marketing is deplorable. He irritated the tenants by not notifying them in advance he was horrible. He lies, steals and cheats. Very unethical man
