Excellent staff and property. We are please with our accommodations. We looked at many places and found the perfect place for us.
Here is my review. I paid my $50 for a rental application on August 12, 2019 for an apartment. I received an alert from Credit Karma on 8/13/2019 that MJ Kelly Realty checked my credit. On 8/16/19 i called to follow up on my rental application. They told me the person reviewing the rental applications had not got too mine because "he was too busy." If I could give zero I would...inept repair people...unfinished repairs..foundation collapsing...unwillingness to do necessary repairs in timely fashion if at all...worst realty company in tje area
Terrible People It took several months for them to fix a patio door that had a 2" gap in it, allowing for bugs to get in. While we were living in the apartment, I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau because our door hadn't been fixed in months. A couple days later I received a phone call from the property manager, Mike, asking if I wanted to be evicted; because of the complaint I submitted and posting poor reviews on websites Mike threatened to evict me. By far the worst landlord I have ever rented from. It is rare that they answer calls or emails and when they do they are extremely rude. We had multiple things around the apartment break since everything is so old and outdated. This wouldn't be a big deal to us but after telling them multiple times, things never get fixed. We had a 5ft hole long in our ceiling for months that they refused to fix! The hole was from the constant leaking of the roof which we told them about months before and they never did anything about. BEWARE! I am writing this review several months (over a year) since I rented from MJ Kelly. My rental from MJ Kelly was my first renting experience in the city of Pittsburgh, and I wasn't sure if it was normal or not. The poor slum-lord type service is not normal!! I have been in another apartment since, and my husband works for another excellent landlord in the city, and the service I received from MJ Kelly would force me to categorize him as a slum-lord.
