I have refinanced my car through MCU, and it took them about a week to complete the transaction. Not to mention they quoted my interest rate wrong twice during the process. They don't follow up with their promises, and are really seem uneducated, and slow to respond. Once my car is paid off, I will no longer do business with Missouri Credit Union.
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had banking was at the branch on Eastland. Less than 24 hours after I opened a money market account I decided to close it. I couldn't sign up for online statements and I found I.T. very unprofessional. They wanted to charge to mail statements. Seriously? Plus, if I'm there to deposit money, why do I keep hearing about car loans? You're the bankers, not the used car salesmen. And what's with that silly pig?

I know this sounds rediculous but I'm giving your radio ad's a 1 star lol. It's a pig being an idiot and tells us nothing about the service you provide us. Your a bank, not a potato chip brand telling kids your chips are cool. who cares about an imaginary pig doing flips or whatever off a diving board. Give me something useful in your advertisement. Because of the pig I truly believe people will not invest their dollars into Missouri Credit Union. Truly bad marketing.
I am concerned about MCU. My mortgage increased by 200 dollars a month this year. The representatives couldn't tell me why or where the money was going. Is it going to the escrow? Was my loan sold? They said I have to pay and maybe next year it will go down. It seems illegal to me. It's a shame because I have loved the bank for the last 5 years. I don't want to change banks. Does anyone know what has happened to the mortgage department?
I was charged a draft for someone else's bank account a few months back and not to mention their customer service is HORRIBLE. Never trade your vehicle with this bank either, they don't have their stuff together, please avoid this bank if at all possible!!!
I've been banking with MCU for several years now, and I have never had an issue with their physical office staff or online services. I purchased a home with MCU back in 2013 and the process went flawlessly. I've also never had issues with my escrow account in the 2-3 years since. Dump the big banks, keep your money local!
