My son has been going here for a couple years now. I am truly glad it is almost coming to an end. The lack of communication with the staff and the lack of caring for my child and his possessions is infuriating. Plus, CYS reports that traumatized my family. Please if you have an autistic child, try to get them into the Mechanicsburg clinic. That clinic was soooo much better at communicating! (He was there the first couple months).. The amount of support, education and overall loving care my daughter has received here has been life changing. I am every day grateful not only for the information, the resource support and real skill building, but the staff are truly educated in supporting the real-life questions that we had with wanting to best support our nonverbal child in helping her develop a true solid foundation for her future success.
We have been attending Helping Hands Family who has recently merged with Mission Autism Clinic for almost two years now. The staff here has been absolutely amazing working with our daughter and constantly coming up with the programs that will fit her specific needs. I can not say enough on how grateful we are with how hard the staff works with our child to achieve her goals and celebrate her accomplishments!!
