My entire family has gone to Lynn Eye Medical Group for as long as I can remember. I saw Dr. Cooper throughout my childhood, and now my children see him. I see Dr. Hymas now, just by preference, there was nothing wrong with Dr. Cooper. My kids are all comfortable with him, and every experience is perfectly fine, our questions answered, needs met, its painless. I have only dealt with Dr. Cooper at I have only dealt with Dr. Cooper at this office, once for me and once for my son. I agree with a few of the post regarding price and diagnosis. I had a chalazion that would not go away. I did some of my own research about treatment before going to the doctor. There were some options with the last resort being surgery. Long time patient My 9 year old daughter has been seeing Dr. Cooper since she was 20 months old. I have never once had a bad experience with the office staff, optometrists, or Dr. Cooper. In fact, with all of the visits we have had over the years, we have had nothing but great experiences. Dr. Cooper performed surgery on my daughter's eyes when she was 4 years old. staff member needs to know how to answer phone Dr. Cooper is great but please do something about your staff members and please teach them how to be courteous on the phone. I called to ask the date for my daughter's appointment. The girl who answered the phone gave me the date and she said MArch 6, I asked her if it was a monday or tuesday she answered me I don't have a calendar in front of me. Office NOT Doctor Dr. Cooper has been my opthamologist for many years and I continue to see him because of his care for me and my family. I continue to see him in SPITE of the office personnel. Again, I am not talking about his assistants but the actual behind the desk staff. They must HATE their jobs and it shows. NOT FOR CHILDREN!!! We are new to the area and we had a wonderful pediatric ophthalmologist in Orange County. Dr. Cooper was recommended to me because he was the only one in the area. I am so disappointed. The staff hates children, hates them. Dr. Cooper kept trying to get me out of the room while he was treating my daughter. Con Artist I went to Dr. Cooper for a regular eye exam, they charged me $55 that day, then a month later I get a bill from them for another $133! Come to find out they charged my insurance company over $800 for a regular eye exam, of which I ended up paying close to $200 out of pocket! When I called the office the Billing Clerk said the reason I had to pay so much is because I haven't spent enough on medical care this year to pay off my minimum deductible. I'm like what???? Terrible office - Don't go here if you have choices Un-professional office. They should be out of business. This office doesn't care for patients at all especially kids. Shouldn't be treating kids. Horrible staff and irreponsible DR. My mistake that I did not listen to the bad review here. I just thought may be it's not true, but it's really true. Parents..... don't bring your kids there. Stay away at all cost...................I'd better do my business at other DRs who get paid from my insurance and provide better service.
