My appointment was canceled after confirming, still showed up because I had the second part of a time-sensitive test to be completed. When I arrived to the clinic, it was closed completely without the hours posted online. I only realized it was closed because both doors of the rooms had a sign that said closed. I asked around but no one was able to help me and I had to drive 30 minutes to another minute clinic to get my appointment done. Got here early for my appointment. Still waiting one hour later. What’s the point of having an appointment if you don’t have the capacity to see people on time? Why isn’t our time treated as though it’s valuable? I spent the morning at jury duty and have been fasting for hours. This model is wrong and I know this is just a public venting session that won’t accomplish anything.
At first glance minute clinic walk in sounds like a good idea— which, it was, but I wouldn’t necessarily fully suggest a walk in here. I WOULD strongly recommend an appointment, since the service beyond the wait for a walk in was stellar. The physician I saw (Carol I believe) was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and effective in her treatment and made me feel at ease instantly.
