So my husband had to have surgery yesterday. Everything turned out GREAT! He had a total left hip replacement. He is up and moving around and at home now. So in the meantime I got to stay at the 'Carle hospital Guest house ' instead of sleeping in a chair. I appreciate the Guest house very much for their hospitality. Here are pictures of the Guest house. Thank you so Carle Hospital for everything you done for my husband and I 💙❤
Very very good hospital. Lovely staff, minus one devil lab technician. Very well trained special doctors. I love how they are allowed to have their personalities at work, which makes it easier to connect with the patient. Travel 2 hours each way just to be treated fairly, as that is not the case in our town.

Charges patients astronomical fees THEN won’t assist patients when Carle is in the wrong. Shameful and disgraceful that Carle is literally bankrupting their patients, even those with great health insurance. THIS IS WHY PATIENTS ARE LEAVING CARLE IN DROVES!
We have been at Carle for a week now with my 5 month old son because he has RSV. We have spent most of our time in ICU with him and overall we had a great experience there. We loved the doctors he had and most the nurses were wonderful in taking care of him and really seemed to love their job. We only had a problem with one nurse up there because she kept getting aggravated with my son for pulling his leads off. so unorganized. no one new what was going on. never the same nurse that took care of you. wrong diagnosis on chart and told nurse this and was told she doesnt know what to do to fix it. was absolutely a horrible visit. was referred to a specialist and was never told this and when the carle specialist office called us they got mad because we wouldn't schedule an appt. totally ridiculous

my dad was cut open on cumidan blood thinner about 5years back by dr shefield the 3rd bled to death they didnt even have vaccum chest pack they ran out put towels and tape he bled our and killed him, the nurse even had guts to tell me something was wrong!he had a blocked bowel thought he had hernia !It was really messed up you can smell stank arm pit sweat when you walk iin from receptionists that work thers it was bad , carle has helped alot of people but has done alot of careless acts now my daughters dont have grampa i ca... read more
