In 1915, Mario DeBenedetti began baking Italian breads in Lockport, Ill., using family recipes he brought to America from his homeland. He called his bakery Milano, after the Italian city he remembered from his youth. Demand for his fresh-baked breads grew quickly, and in 1926, the Milano Bakery moved into a new building. the customer service that I received today was horrible, I stood in line for 10 min and the the cashier took a local businessman that was behind me shame on the cashier and on Nacho Guzman he knew it was next
They did an absolutely beautiful job on our cake for my kids communion/baptism. First time getting a cake from them, and def. going back from now on!
I love this bakery. I don’t know the name of the baker but a few weeks ago I had my Husband got pick up our little girl’s unicorn cake early Sunday morning and I asked my husband to ask the baker to add the head piece and a mane because we didn’t get the cake in time Saturday and I didn’t have any time in between Church and her party. He said the baker took her time and the claw was gorgeous! I just wanted to say thank you soooo much for making this party special. As usual the cake tasted great. Thank you Milano Bakery!
