Over Priced – The ambience is very nice - choice location with outdoor patio at Ferry Bldg. But the $4 tiny taco I ordered was a major disappointment. The small spoonful of barely flavored carne asada was drowning in a cold, gelatinous green salsa. Fresh onions, cilantro, and homemade tortilla were the highlights. Drinks were also astronomically high in price.

Great Mexican Food! – I am from Southern California and I have yet to find good Mexican food in SF, until Majita. The food is excellent... I am particularly impressed with their fish taco (beer battered, rolled in a homemade corn tortilla), carne asada, and majita quesadilla. While the service is slow (they are still working through their kinks), the food is definitely worth the wait. Ugh! – I suppose I should caveat this review acknowledging the fact that Mijita is new and likely working out some kinks. As a diner at SF's great restaurants, recent price inflation is not an issue for me, that being said, value is. For $4.50, I got a small tortilla, a tablespoon of beef and a bit of salsa. No guac, no cheese, nothing! My fish taco, also $4.50, was slighly better but again, not worth it. Overall, my two tacos, my girlfriend's 2 tacos and two aqua frescas (just ok) cost about $26.00.
