The doctors here are the absolute best! So caring, and competent. I have recommended both Dr. Berend and Dr. Carter to others, many times! And Dr. Lackey truly saved a friend's leg after my friend had a "bad" knee replacement elsewhere. These docs are top notch!!
Dr. Carter performed an anterior total hip replacement for me, totally relieving the pain from which I had been suffering. He is professional, personable, attentive, with just the right amount of positive energy. MCJR staff are courteous, caring and professional as well. Highly recommend this group!!
Who knew a shot in the knee would be a game changer. Went to MCJR for 2nd opinion. Dr. Lakey was great and didn’t even talk about surgery. Ortho Indy wanted to cut my knee ASAP with an experimental procedure. Friendly staff from the minute you walk in the door.

Dr. Carter done both of my total knee replacements and it was a magnificent experience in all aspects. I would recommend MCJR to anyone. The doctors and staff are the best and I have a new life thanks to them.
