Our check-in experience at Midblock Miami was extremely concerning and raised serious red flags about how payments are handled. We booked through Airbnb and were aware of the $50 per person registration fee. Two guests arrived first and were instructed by the front desk supervisor, Jaquetta Pitts, to send the full payment for all six guests via Zelle. Nice staff in the building, particularly Ms. Betty who is very helpful at the front desk. Everything is nicely maintained, we saw staff cleaning on several floors and there is frequently someone checking the pool water. Edit: this building allows short term rental and there is a key required to enter every area, you cannot lose the key. Everything from the garage doors, front doors, pool, gym, etc requires a key card.

thanks jacquetta, thanks girl keep it up, she is friendly, responsive, helped us when we arrived for check-in all good excellent. the apartment was very comfortable, even though we spent most of our time out. oh! one thing we didn’t plan for was having to pay the building fee in cash, so... i recommend that everyone and especially groups,, keep this additional expense in mind plan ahead people! as the host didn’t mention it to us :( the area is very central, lovely and walkable to shops, wynwood and trader joe’s are right ar... read more

I would like to give a big shout out to Alexander at front desk for his exceptional customer service! He assisted us when our host was unresponsive and he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless and stress free. His communication and patience were unmatched. Midblock is lucky to have him!
