A Mid Valley Horror Story – Some time ago my dog wasn't feeling well. I called my regular vet and both doctors were in surgery. Not wanting to wait another day I called Mid Valley. They could see me right away. Dr. Pitt gave my dog a cursery examination and announced, "He is very sick. He must be admitted because he needs to be monitored." Mid Valley Veterinary Hospital – I have been taking my 2 dogs (only for emergency and update Shots) to MV for the past 5 years and have very litle confidence or satisfaction in the Staff or Doctors there. 1. They have mis-diagnosed problems on many occations 2. They take the animal into a back room to do ANY procedure or shot, leaving you in a small exam room alone to wonder who is performing and what has been done. Why so secret? 3. No Correction Here!! This Vet is A+++++++ – Competent and caring. The front office staff is wonderful and friendly. They are open 7 days and holidays. I have never and I mean NEVER had any type of problem or issue with the prices or care my 2 labs receive at Mid Valley Veterinary Hospital. Best of all I love the vets, Dr. Pitt and Dr. Kim. They are truly wonderful vets who ALWAYS have the best interest of my pets. I vote Mid Valley the number 1 vet in the valley. p.s. Great parking. long evening hours, and holidays.
Stand Corrected – I have taken my dog/puppy to Mid Valley Vet several times and each time I have NEVER been satisfied with the customer service I get from the staff...About a month ago I lost my dog, and she was very important to me and my family because we have had her for 9 years, recently before she passed they had prescribed medicine to her to "help" her and the medicine was 100$ for each refill, (obviously we were clearly going to by the med.) we saw no improvement in my dog...I myself do not have a car, and last month ... read more
Mid Valley Vet is The Best Vet in the Valley – Don't believe any bad reviews. In 5 yrs have had nothing but positive experiences. Great Service. Love the extended hours. They offer 6 months interest free financing when my dog broke his hip. Dr. Pitt is an incredible vet who volunteers his time saving/rescuing retired war dogs. PLEASE THINK TWICE!! Staff is very rude. Dr. Kim did not give my dog more than 30 seconds of her time befor she gave me a bill of $900. They get you in with a low Van Nuys office vist price, then stick you with a high bill. Office manager is VERY rude, and not very helpfull. Spoke to OWNER Dr. Pitt who claimes he is not the owner, but just works for the corporation, that he owns. He ref me to the rude office manager. Orthopedic, ACL.MLP – We brought my dog here for two different surgeries this year. The first time was for her luxating patella and the second time for her broken leg. Mid Valley Veterinary Hospital gave our dog great care and treatment, and I am very happy to say that my dog has recovered and is now walking and playing like a normal dog. It is a miracle! A+ Feels Like Home So Friendly,Fair and Respectfull The Best – I have used this practice for over 5 years and have had as many as 6 pets at a time that have ben seen there and I have referred dozons of friends. Because it is so friendly there. Overall, I have been very happy with these drs. It is always meticulously clean and free of smells.
