Took my son here cuz he couldn't urinate. A nurse put a catheter in him but didn't put it in far enough and he urinated blood instead of urine. He urinated blood for 3 days. Each of those 3 days I took him back. The nurses said he was fine. Finally on the 3rd day, they took it out. My son was getting weaker and weaker while the catheter was in him and he told the nurses. Just glad my aunt retired she always talked about people !! Isn't there a law ?? Cause she broke it many times!! You think no one will talk your wrong !! Good luck to ya!!

I sat in the emergency for about 6 hours and finally wanted to leave before they assigned me a room, though the evening was quiet and there was little activity. Some of the staff seemed disorderly and a bit arrogantly inconsiderate. But they have an incredible cardiology dept and the shift doctor was tremendous, which is all that really matters.

We have been in Mid Coast for two separate operations and again for a bad case of pneumonia; all in 2015. We could not be more pleased with the services provided by the nurses and staff. Our surgeon is great !
