First time patient with Dr. Yergler. When he came into the exam room, he immediately went to the x-ray and didn't address me. Based solely on the x-ray, he wanted to schedule a knee replacement. He did not ask me one question. Usually doctors ask things like, "What brings you in?" "Tell me about your knee." "What is your pain level?" "What makes it worse? better?" "What have you tried so far?" "Has your daily life been impacted?" "What part of you knee hurts the most?" NO dialogue with the patient (me). NOT one single questi... read more
Dr. Yergler lacks compassion and professionalism. Instead, these traits are replaced with arrogance and a dismissive attitude. He did not give me the time of day or attention. I had no chance to ask questions about my prognosis, treatment options. I tried to ask a question, but he was already walking out the door and essentially dismissed my question by mumbling some response as his back was to me and he walked to the next patient. He jumped to conclusions, said he needed to go to a meeting cutting the visit short and leaving us without answers, I later asked for a copy of the visit and found he logged things that did not happen, and flat out made things up about the visit. I should have known better but took another family member there, Dr. Yergler totally missed diagnosed and said we had other things wrong in places we did not even have trouble with! My son had an ACL reconstruction surgery. Everything went perfect. Great staff and Mike was professional.
At every visit the Dr acts VERY bothered by questions that are asked of him and he explains as little as possible. There have been many times that he is downright rude and condescending, both during appointments and even on the day of my surgery! He ALWAYS acts very rushed during the appointments and does not take the time to properly explain things!
