Dr. Wood operated on both of my husband's carotid arteries last February and April, 2022. Both times Dr. Wood came out to the waiting room to let me know how his surgery went. As a retired Surgical and Coronary Care RN his assurance that all went well was awesome! My husband's recovery and care in the hospital was great. All of his questions and concerns were answered. Simply put he literally saved my life. His knowledge is second to none. In my case he was truly a miracle worker , his compassion and kindness can't be praised enough.
My initial visit with Dr Wood was surprising. He put me at ease immediately with his professional and friendly way. His instructions were clear and concise. Prior to CABG surgery, he again made me feel confident in his skills and trusting that he could accomplish the surgery well. His team were all professionals and just as friendly as Dr Wood. My after-surgery care has been completely 5-star service. I highly recommend Dr Michael Wood and will see him again for any cardio thoracic issues in the future.
Dr Wood saved my wife’s life. He had originally recommended her for heart transplant but after careful review he agreed to her double valve surgery. Her EF was only 10 when she arrived and after surgery her EF was 35. Now 2 years later her EF is 45. He calls her a walking contradiction lol
Dr. Wood performed mitral valve repair on my heart in 2018. It was flawless. The job he did was amazing! I would recommend him to anyone who has heart problems that he deals with. I trusted him with my life and now my life is much better because of all he did.
Really, really bad experience. This guy has no idea what he’s doing.
I had an very good experience with my current visit. Dr Wood is excellent explaining results of all findings of test taken.

This was my first time seeing Dr Wood. I was very pleased with his office staff and Dr Wood he was very good at explaining my procedure and how everything was going to be done.
