An all around pleasant and informative experience with Dr. Wood. His support staff was equally impressive. I highly recommend this medical office to anyone.
I felt confident in receiving care from Dr Wood. He is a competent surgeon and displays a caring approach. He did my husband's surgery a couple of years ago and my husband was very pleased with Dr Wood and his staff.

My first visit I was concern about seeing Dr. Wood, but after talking with Dr. Wood. He explained to me all the procedures he would be doing. How long the operation would take. When I left Dr. Wood office I knew I had a good doctor.
Dr. Wood was wonderful. Spent about an hour with my husband and I discussing the heart problem and ways to fix. During that time, Dr. Wood was patient, reassuring, respectful and answered all our questions many times over. We NEVER felt rushed or this was just another day at the office for him. Not looking forward to the probable surgery I'll need but am confident in both Dr. Wood and his staff that I'm in good hands.

1 year and 3 months after by pass surgery. Dr. Wood saved my life. After two teams of physicians, from two different hospitals told me that my heart was beyond repair, and to go home and get my affairs in order, Dr. Wood convinced me that he could successfully perform the operation. I figured I had nothing to loose, I was dying, I couldn't walk 20 feet. I had a tough time getting up and going to the bathroom, and it was a real chore leaving my home, and getting to my car. Thank you Dr.
I have never had a doctor who spent as much time as we needed answering questions, ensuring we understood everything that was going to happen for my husband's bypass surgery as Dr. Wood. Then came back in again to see if we had thought of any other questions after we had time to digest. His professionalism and his staff's is the best I've seen and the caring, bed-side manner is superb. Caring not only about the patient but their family as well is also a priority. Highly recommend him!!!!
