Bedside manner was very nonchalant; didn't seem to care whether I did the surgery or not. Decided to do it, and then the communication from office assistant was very disjointed and unclear. Recommend finding a higher rated surgeon.
Out of 4 total surgeries, 3 were great, but the last one was definitely not! He did total replacement of my shoulder. He does not care how bad it hurts. He won’t give you enough medication for the replacement surgery, and his trainer, Katie, is just unhinged. I feel sorry for her kids if she has any. Anyway, the quality of Dr. Herbenick’s work is great, but aftercare is lacking in a big way.
I was referred to Dr. Herbenick by another of my doctors. I had 4 total surgeries with Dr. Herbenick. One on the left arm, and 3 on the right, with the third being a total shoulder replacement. They make you sign a paper saying you agree to 6 weeks of pain meds. Well, I made the mistake of assuming someone had tested this and it was enough medication for the surgery. Don’t assume. Dr. Herbinick operated on my shoulder on March 22, 2023. Today on October 11, 2023 my arm feels great with no pain and I am completely satisfied with the movement of my shoulder and arm.
Very efficient office and staff
He was very kind. He sat in front of me and listened and spoke to me instead of going around the room fiddle with stuff. I definitely will see him again when I need help.
Dr Herbenick was very personable and informative.
Kind, patient and listened with a caring look. He was in no hurry to get out of the room he explained everything clearly.
Everything went well.
