Very helpful staff. Amy is a blessing. He is very busy but still takes time to address each problem. Always able to work me in if needed.

He is very interested in preventative healthcare and minimize the medications unless absolutely necessary. He is all about diet and exercise.
Unprofessional, arrogant, condescending, terrible listener. Expect long waits & discourteous office staff. Not only does this doctor think he is a god, he doesn't listen to or otherwise act like he cares about his patients. I went in after experiencing pain and difficulty breathing and arm pain. When I went in to see him on the second day of pain, he actually laughed at me & told me it was a pulled muscle. Interesting, since I had to be hospitalized for blood clots the next day. Buyer beware.
Dr. Bernard is very professional, trustworthy, and caring. He is willing to spend time with the patient, educate the patient and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Bernard sees nothing wrong with the fact that staff members post Bible verses in locations that patients can see easily. What about patients who are not Christians--those who practice another religion or those who practice no religion whatsoever? When staff members started attaching little baskets to their workstations that contained pamphlets for their churches, I knew that I had to find another primary care physician. I don't want religion forced upon me when I'm seeking medical care.
Dr. Bernard is the 1st doctor I've ever seen that seems to really listen and care.
