About this business

Miceli's restaurant hasn't changed in years because it is perfect the way it is. Sure, it is dark, but some call that romantic. The food is strictly Old World Italian, which means good and not too fancy. The occasional star sighting gets the crowd talking, but the singing waiters (and guests) keep the ears full. You might want to reconsider this place if the singing isn't your thing, however for the one-time tourist and third-generation Italian, you'll have a fantastic evening out. Try this place for lunch as it is apparentl... read more

The normally excellent Miceli's Hollywood was different this time. We arrived at 4:40, had a 6:30 curtain at Pantages theatre and nearly missed the curtain. We were not greeted by a waiter until we were there for 25 minutes. The service was excruciatingly slow and we had to ask for things multiple times. Quite a disappointment in comparison to my prior visits. The food was excellent, which was the only reason it even rated a "fair" this time.

Grandma's Lasagna is the REAL DEAL! The Pizza sadly is an "Americanized" version.

Been here several times and the food has really gone downhill...it was jut bad. The baked past dish was lacking sauce. The chicken marsala was bland and the eggplant was hardly breaded and just smothered in cheese to hide the poor quality. Sad.

Historical, cozy, welcoming, wonderful---a must for any Hollywood visit where you want to get a sense of the good old days. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The house pianist, Brian, is gifted, hilarious, and takes requests.
