Miceli's restaurant hasn't changed in years because it is perfect the way it is. Sure, it is dark, but some call that romantic. The food is strictly Old World Italian, which means good and not too fancy. The occasional star sighting gets the crowd talking, but the singing waiters (and guests) keep the ears full. Absolutely excellent… The ambience was perfect.... the food wonderful , the service was absolutely impeccable I !!!! highly recommend great location great great food !
The staff was very attentive. Food was awful-pizza crust was doughy and the sauce tasted like it was from a tin. Hollywood icon or not-never going back.

Our waiter seemed to be bothered with us. Not friendly at all. I took a friend there to show him great Italian restaurant in Hollywood and actually felt embarrassed and apologized to him because our server made us feel uncomfortable. We sat directly behind the host desk 9/30/17
I make a annual trip to Hollywood every year since I moved to Arizona from being a LA native all my life . We stay at the Roosevelt and walk to Miceli's from there and always have excellent service and great food!! And their pianist and waiters and waitresses that sing along are very very talented!!! The wait staff takes very good care of you!!! We Will always include going there when we visit!!!! And the nostalgic atmosphere is unsurpassed!!!!����

Omgosh, old Hollywood, The food was the greatest I've ever had. I will definitely visit again Spaghetti� was so good my gbabies left the plates empty... Sopped up every bit of sauce with the homemade rolls!

We have been coming here for over 10 years..everytime we are in LA we have lunch or dinner here. The best!!
