Miceli's restaurant hasn't changed in years because it is perfect the way it is. Sure, it is dark, but some call that romantic. The food is strictly Old World Italian, which means good and not too fancy. The occasional star sighting gets the crowd talking, but the singing waiters (and guests) keep the ears full. Great food and great singing!!!!! We came here for a birthday and although we had a long wait, we just sat in the bar till our table was ready. Delicious food. Love it here.
It’s the same now as it was in 1966 or 67 when we went they’re with friends from school.(I’m not that Old am I?) Food is the same, good, more wine bottles hanging from the ceiling. My wife and I saw Betty White there once, we like it.

Wonderful meal and service after seeing the movie at El Capitán Theatre! Lasagna was amazing!!
We just walked and saw this place, it was the first time we tried it. Honestly, I liked, the place was so nice, the live piano playing was great, the environment overall was great too. We were able to listen to each other when we had a conversation. The food was great too. If I ever go back to Hollywood I will definitely go back there to eat.
We were just there with 33 people after my mother's memorial service. We all had a wonderful time. Great food and great service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The ambience is great too.
Love this restaurant! However, consider Sharing an entree as the portions are huge. My favorite is their Annie’s Lasagne. Service is good. Piano and singing an added plus.
FABULOUS family owned Italian restaurant! Been an LA icon since 1949. Half block off Hollywood Boulevard. The eggplant parmesan and the shrimp scampi were DELICIOUS!!! And the homemade rolls - mmmmmmm - served fresh from.the oven to your table! Would highly recommend this restaurant!
Fantastic food, ambiance, singing servers & pianist! Bellisimo!
