In March 2011 "Mi Patria" opened becoming the first and only Ecuadorian restaurant in Des Moines. Owner Cesar Miranda (Ecuadorian) with more than fifteen years of experience in the restaurant business, accomplished his dream by bringing the aromas and flavors of his country to Des Moines. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. We ordered the sampler for 2 which was a lot of food, couldn’t finish it. Will definitely be going back when in town

Amazing food... we got the mi Patria platter for two, Arroz Marinero and appetizers were llapingachos and chicken empanadas! Everything was absolutely delicious!
