Do us all a favor, MG fitness, and get swallowed by a giant sinkhole. This place sucks harder than Kim Kardashian, and that is a FACT. I would give this place 0 stars if there was the option. I have had a similar experience as several of the reviewers on this site (kristen d., joe s., gary e., mike f.) regarding cancellation and superfluous charges. This place may seem cheap but it's a giant rip off run by a bunch of manner-less, cheap turds.
STEER CLEAR I cancelled my membership after a very unpleasant discovery regarding the health standards at this gym (apparently cleaning the machines after use is optional at MG Fitness). Unbeknownst to me, they continued to charge my account for several months. A few months ago I had lost my debit card, and ordered a new one from the bank. Recently I have been receiving notices for past due balances as the card they were charging was no longer active. mg pooor fitness center i cancel my membership after one year i enjoy the place no problem untill i quit they charge my card after i gave notice i called my creidit cards file fraud charges the women was very ruied to me, on the phoneat the gym machines are broken and the people are ruded planted fitness is the place to go 99 for the year no committed
good Not a bad gym, you go to the gym to workout staff was always saying hello and bye, they dont pressure you to to buy trainging sessions were upfront about the 20.00 fee and so what like some guy said if it doesnt have the hottest women I go for a workout not to get noticed
BEWARE: Random fees! I joined this gym for $35/month and no contract, no sign up fee. I was told that were no additional fees. I got an email last month that they were charging a $20 maintenance fee. Yes, an email.
Reasonable priced and a good work out can be had. Mikes Gym is a very good gym for a good work out. It has a good and friendly staff. The people that go to Mikes Gym are of all different ages from young to senior citizens. They have great cardio machines that are new and well kept up. They all people of different nationalities. They have two floors of free weights. I am not into free weights at this time. I find the main floor great for me because it has all the machines for cardio and strength. Great Club & Great Price Wow, what can I say? This club has tons of equipment and allows you to do many different routines. The cardio is new and you never have to wait for a machine. The classes are awesome and the instructors really motivate! Strength training is separated with free weights and selectorized on 3 floors. Mike's Gym Steals Your Money First off, the gym is dirty and smells like a VFW bar room. The equipment is old and most of it is broken with notebook paper signs excusing the inconveinence. They sucked me for the $30/month membership, but now that I have moved trying to cancell my non-contractual agreement has been a nightmare. Best in the area for my money MG Fitness, as it's now known, is a great club without a lot of bells and whistles. The memberships are very reasonable in my opinion, they offer you several options. They have lots of cardio equipment, I've never had to wait for a machine and nothing's worse than standing around waiting for a bench or treadmill.
