My daughter broke her neck in a car accident and Dr. Meyer was on call that day at Morristown Hospital. Boy am I glad he was. He has been a wonderful doctor for her- very responsive to me as a nervous mom and very compassionate with my daughter. We both love him. He has treated her very well and she is almost healed without surgery. He is very smart, very compassionate, very "real" and optimistic. Highly recommend him.
Dr. Meyer did superior neuosurgery on me.
Still suffering after 2017 surgery on neck I would think he would be concerned. He’s not.
It was my first time meeting Dr. Meyer. I appreciate that he is "young", since both my previous neurosurgeon and orthopedic surgeon have retired. It was the first day of the Somerville office being opened. As a Somerville resident, I am delighted to be able to visit Dr. Meyer so locally. Excellent except does NOT prescribe Rx Opiate medications for pain
Dr. Myer performed a spinal fusion of L5-S1 due to spondylolisthesis in July 2020. My back is now stable, I am pain free, and the nerve compression resulting in numb and painful heals is now resolved. Prior to surgery, Dr. Myer answered my many questions with patience, kindness and understanding and I had complete confidence in his expertise and knowledge going into the surgery. Great results from surgery. Scheduler Theresa was great, as were Gina for pre-op, Claire for 2 week post-op. Would prefer that my surgeon have ability to e-prescribe for additional pain meds if requested rather than require trip to office for paper scrip...did discuss this in post -op visit and understand that is Altair policy.
The information provided prior to the surgery was excellent. The surgery went perfectly.
I had surgery on 8/11/2020 to relieve pressure on my L4 and L5 spine due to spinal stenosis. Before surgery, I was unable to stand for even a few minutes at a time, due to numbness in my feet. One month after surgery, I am able to stand and move, without any numbness or "floating" feeling in my feet. Thank you, Dr. Meyer.
