I first met Dr. Meyer at Overlook Hospital. He was so professional and informative. He absolutely wanted me to feel comfortable and told me I could check on his Credentials!! I learned his amazing background but his bedside manner was what really impressed me. I work in Healthcare and see everyday the relationship between Doctor and Patient and nobody can compare!! He is an amazing Neurosurgeon but he also is an amazing and compassionate human being and I would recommend him in a heartbeat!
Dr. Meyer performed a laminectomy and fusions on my lumbar spine from L3 to L5-S1. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Meyer reviewed my MRI in detail. He made sure all of my questions were answered. Dr. Meyer spent time with me to make sure everything was understood. He and his staff prepared me for the surgical procedure. I am now 6 weeks post surgery and I am doing fine. I would recommend Dr. Meyer and Atlantic NeuroSurgical Specialists to everyone contemplating spinal surgery.
I am 45 years of age and have had over eight surgeries with other Doctors. I would have to say that Dr. Meyer is the best Doctor that I have every had. He is so compassionate. He will always take time to answer any of my questions. I was in so much pain that I was bed ridden for 2 mths. This Dr. took my pain away and now Im recovering still with exercises. But I can now take care of my 7 year old again. I would give him 10 stars not five.
