Our experience with Dr Meyer was excellent. He is extremely knowledgable, and skilled. But also, kind, understanding and relatable. He immediately eased the fears of our 20 year old son. Got him in quickly for a microdiscectomy and laminotomy which had him in good enough shape to leave for college 3 weeks later (with some modifications and restrictions) He is without pain for the first time in years!! And is actually smiling a genuine smile. We can't thank Dr Meyer enough.
Four years ago today as a breast cancer survivor I trusted Dr. Meyer and he turned my life upside down putting too much traction on the nerve , during a spinal fusion. I have permanent L5. nerve damage. From my waist to my toes both legs are weak, with pain and profoundly painful neuropathy. I had to modify my home. Turned my life upside down with a terrible spine fusion. Permanently disabled. Please be careful and find someone else.
Do no harm is the oath. When you put too much traction on L5 nerve,you left me permanently disabled. Turned my life upside down, permanently. Ego, did not acknowledge what went wrong during surgery. Find some one else.
Dr. Meyer is very knowledgeable. He is involved in cutting edge technology to improve spinal fusion and treatments for degenerative spinal conditions. Dr. Meyer has a great personality and bedside manner. He takes the time to explain your condition and the alternatives that can provide relief. He is a top notch surgeon and takes his time with you both pre-op and post-op. 3yrs later, permanently disabled. Worst decision of my life. Find a different surgeon. Nocturnal leg cramps, Horrible neuropathy.
Dr. Meyer took the time to review my films and explain what was going on with my back. He’s very nice and speaks to you with respect and kindness. He did not rush through my appointment and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. This will be my second surgery with him. Highly recommend.
Trusted him. Never acknowledged the permmant nerve damage after the spine fusion. Can't walk , sit stand, left permanently disabled from the nerve damage he caused during the surgery. Find another surgeon.
