About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Horrible experience! I stated how i didn’t understand why the small kids drink was $3 and she starts getting mad at me, telling me to stop arguing (this was her second time snapping at me) and then went to the kitchen to loudly express her distaste for me. Never coming back. Oh and the au jus is very watery and tasteless

Metzger’s reminds me of my grandparents. Great food that my grandma used to make. They have the best Onion Soup I have ever tasted. The cuckoo clocks take me back to my German Heritage. I can’t wait for my next visit!
