About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

How is it possible that a restaurant offers a signature dish only Fri/Sat/Sun only and always runs out on Sunday long before dinner service? The Sauerbraten has nothing to do with the real dish, why is there no brown sauce? The potato salad has way too much vinegar and the red cabbage was pink. The good things? The Schnitzel are delicious. But this is not enough to ever wanna make me come back
