About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Of course the best German food can be eaten in Germany, but Metzger's food is pretty great. I regularly take my students here to experience some traditional food and culture. Btw if you want to learn German contact me!
