About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Very enjoyable! The Yeager sauce was alil off but other that that extremely nice! I’m from Germany so I was pleased to find you in my travels!
All the German dishes to choose from and great service. 90 years in business speaks for itself.

Almost always get the prime rib, never disappointed
Food was cold Ordered mettwurst got the knockwurst. when i asked the waitress she said they changed the recipe. but a table over ordered the mettwurst and got what I thought I should have gotten potato pancakes were tuff asked for extra gravy because spazel was cold got a little bowl that held about 2 tablespoons
Very disappointed in my rather pricey meal (8/11/18). The one thing that makes a mediocre meal seem worse is when it’s not served hot. My drink (French 75) was awesome though.
Delicious food, good atmosphere, great customer service.
