Our experience at Methodist Charlton Medical Center exceeded expectations. The nurses, techs, and doctors were very professional, caring and totally prepared for our needs. The caring and healing experience was wonderful.
I was there for a long test for Gastroparesis. We were sitting at the front lobby waiting for registration to open . Husband walked up to the directory and someone asked him if she could help. She then guided us to the right entrance. After registering, we waited around 5 minutes and sure enough, tsimeone came right away and made me my radioactive egg and water to drink and another young gentleman came to take me for my first X-ray. Being at that hospital was auh hot mess I will never go back there again. Very very disappointed in came in feeling bad and left feeling worse my blood pressure was so high they still had me in the waiting room I was about to pass out they didn't care. All they did is a gave me a pain pill and a prescription for pain and my BP. I wasted my money. I advise anybody do not go to this hospital.
Nurse let my iv infiltrate which has now caused a blood clot in my arm and to make me sicker than before.
Very thankful for Dr. Wayhs, Kathleen, Shiva and the rest of the team in cardiology; for Tony, Jennifer, Jeanette and the rest of the team on the 4th floor. All were knowledgeable, kind, patient and provided great service. The patient techs, the lab techs and the meal staff were also fantastic! What was a serious and scary procedure for my wife turned out to be successful and potentially life-saving for her. I spent 6 nights IP on the third floor, and the care I received was exceptional.
Within in hours, I had to bring my son into ER. The first time I bought him...couple few hours later had to call an ambulance...we've been sitting in the waiting area for 30 minutes waiting to get a room in triage. He was assigned a room, but the same doctor who discharged him earlier told them put him in waiting area. Really, repeat visit...sad. So, not coming back to CM ever. Dr. R. Reed needs to work on her lack of bedside manner.
Don't know how Emergency is not an emergency. Son got bite by a dog, open wound, dripping blood....4 1/2 hours later.....
It was a good feeling they took good care of my friend!!!
