I’ve been coming here for quite a while and have generally enjoyed the atmosphere, but this visit was extremely disappointing and will likely be my last. While trying to enjoy a few beers with friends, there was a team of dog groomers working indoors grinding dogs’ nails. The amount of nail dust and powder being generated was noticeable throughout the building. It was floating through the air, settling on tables, and even ending up in our drinks. My partner and I loved our visit here (on a Friday early evening). Friendly staff, tasty brews - I recommend the Tropical Cream Ale if you’d like something light, summery and slightly fruity. But the highlight was getting to see soooo many cute pups (some of which would jump up to the bar to grab a treat from the bartenders). If you love animals, beer and a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to be!
