Ate for the first time on the roof top last Thursday, was gorgeous and drinks were great!! The food was horrible, my 6 yo even hated it and our server was pleasant at first then was rude and cranky!!! Would never eat there again or recommend to others!!!

The food and view where amazing. Our waiter was terrific. Didn't quite enjoy the young girls in thong bikinis, bare feet and frequent nose picking from young kids who had been drinking heavily most of the day. Their foul language was a bit much to have listen to. We ate on the sun deck around 6pm. The elevator was very small and took quite awhile to get a car to take us down. Fun place to stay. Great location and entertainment. And beautiful beach. Resort is loud till late hours and rooms are dated but are clean. Staff is friendly. Love coming back to the Lani Kai.
I've been staying at Lani Kai past 14 yrs (since my kids were 3 &5 yrs old), yes there is loud music till bar closing @2am, just request a room at opposite end of hotel, everything is in walking distance, & anything you need is at Lani Kai, my kids and I � it here and kids still ask to go back every yr. , I've taken my sister & my parents who aren't into the drinking & party all night scene and they � it here too.
