It was heavy into Spring Break....probably one of the busiest I'm told. We (59+64) were 3 stories up right above the bar. Very noisy, however, it was OK considering the volume of teenie boppas with glazed eyes and stupid talk and screaming females. Food was just ok, nothing startling. Hotel is old and in need of repairs. Shower was a trickle. Might be inclined to try elsewhere next. Accomodation is way overpriced for a resort facility.
Just about the best view on the island. Sundeck has great breakfast special, $3 for eggs, potatoes and toast, in season. Restaurant staff friendly. Have never stayed at the hotel but go to the upper restaurants often. Love it.
Awesome place for a date. Rooftop is amazing. Had a blast yesterday.
Busy spring break place. Fun entertainment and pretty good menu on the rooftop restaurant. Get over the bridge to the beach before 8:30 am or you'll be sitting in lots of traffic. Lani Kai parking $10 can be used for $10 off meals there. Great deal.
Happy Hour at the Island View had the best waitress, Laura. Drinks and dinner with a beautiful sunset.
Most frdly staff n helpful..in the midst of spg. Breakers...we chose to eat on the glider deck. Waiters were wonderful n helped me figure out how to do a panoramic pic. Kitchen went down for a short time n they were right there to see what we may need etc. Food was great..prices excellent...watched entertainment n contests from glider. We r retired n prob. Didn't belong there...but all was great. Tried to come back today to catch Cincinnati fireman but no room to park anywhere..attendant was short n rudish but prob. HaD it w... read more
My husband & I, along with our 9yr old, went up to the sundeck to enjoy the view. It was beautiful & lively. It's spring break so we expected a mixed crowd. The server was very nice, as were other staff members. The wings were good, the pizza was fair. The lower level..where you enter to get up to the sundeck...smelled like stale beer and cigarette smoke. Again, it was spring break so folks should expect that at an affordable beach property this time of year.
Clean white sand. Well patrolled. Chairs and umbrellas available.
We had a great time, thrilled to find we could rent umbrella and beach chairs and have service on the beach !
