My baby has fever stroke and we are waiting in lobby from last 1 and a half hours still no one is taking care of her the worst ER

I went in because I had concerning symptoms with my pregnancy that I felt my OB clinic was not addressing. The ER doctor Ben Sweet gave me information in a direct, compassionate way so I could mentally prepare for a positive or negative outcome. He did what I asked and did an ultrasound and answered my tough questions.

Horrible experience and do not recommend. It took 2hrs to be brought to a room, 2hrs to be given a CT scan, and then another 2hrs for them to tell me I had gallstones, which I already knew because the results uploaded to MyChart within about 10mins after the scan was completed. We then had to wait another 1hr+ for the discharge papers that had to be written 3 separate times because they couldn’t get the correct medications filed (shout out to nurse Des, who was the most helpful and nicest to work with).

Mercy has gone down hill since they were purchased by Trinity. I waited 2 hours at a nearly empty emergency room before giving up and leaving. I learned my lesson. I will never go to this ER again.

I took my son here for a nose bleed. The D.O. saw us for 2 or 3 minutes after we waited almost 2 hours (in a nearly empty hospital ER). We received a bill of almost $2,500, including a separate $750 bill for the D.O. who stated 'maybe it's the air' that caused the nose bleed and walked out.
