Personally I would pick somewhere else. It took 6 months to have them transfer my records over from Iowa Clinic. In the meantime they wouldn’t see me so I went without needed heart meds for a while. The check in process is CRAZY here you stand at the desk and answer questions in front of everyone instead of using a phreasia like every other Dr office I’ve ever been to. Impossible to get someone on the phone, you sit on hold for 10+ minutes, sometimes longer. Then, to try to get anyone to call you back, it takes days. This place is piss-poor managed and clearly short of staff.
I want to give Mercy One Iowa Heart Center a big shout out especially the staff that did my MRI they walked me through everything before they did it with my anxiety as high as it was they did a good job reassuring that is was in good hands the staff that assisted me during my MRI I would like to give a shout out to Heidi sumpter Kayla Schindler Isabel Jones YOU GUYS WERE AWESOME KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!! I will be referring people I know to Mercy One Iowa Heart Center
Can’t reach appointment desk to make it change appointments. Called today 03/11/25 recording stating “ closed due to inclement weather”. It’s 50 plus degrees and sunny??
