All I will say is I’ll die from a heart attack before going to the ER again. Went to Mercy with nausea and some chest pain and discomfort. Uneasy about the way I felt. Got to ER at Mercy and explained the condition. No excruciating pain but enough to concern me. With my wife by my side and within 10 minutes they were administering nitro and morphine. RecommendedMy husband and I both had emergency surgery within the same year. Nurses Paula and Terry G in pre Op were both of our nurses and they added that extra special touch even during hectic and stressful times of emergency surgery. Thank you!
I will never go back here again they cared less that my daughter seized and the lab people just watched and after a minute of her seizing and being purple picked her up and patted her back until she came out of it where she then passed out for 2-3 hours and didn’t cry or budge why they were poking her I have spoken with the house supervisor plan on speaking with the patient advocate and doing some course of action

RecommendedNurses are amazing people, especially those at Mercy Cedar Rapids. thanks to Carly, Ariel, Jenny, Tia, Melissa, Emily, and the others in the surgery room whose names I did not get!
RecommendedI have always had great care at Mercy. I have had some out patient procedures and have always been treated great. When I went to the emergency room and was put through the fast flow for patients and was treated I was treated like I was a piece of crap.

RecommendedI've been with Dr Harmon for almost 20 yrs now and both my girls see her also. She is the best and her staff is awesome, especially nurse Dana!
